Dr. Yousuf Siddiqui ND

Dr. Siddiqui has always had a special interest in the well-being and health of others. Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, he struggled with personal health problems, and endeavoured to build an understanding of his body, environment, and how they impact his wellbeing. Initially trained as an architect Dr. Siddiqui, as part of his growing interest in and commitment to holistic healing, became a licensed Yoga Practitioner and Thai Yoga Massage therapist. He studied Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Music Therapy, Dream Analysis, Meditation and furthered his education of Ayurvedic Medicine in India with renowned masters of the art.

Dr. Yousuf Siddiqui is passionate about natural medicine. He received his degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada. CCNM is the largest and leading accredited college of naturopathic medicine in North America, with a curriculum focused on up to date research and evidence based medicine. Its graduates are holistic primary care physicians and practitioners of the most comprehensive of alternative medicine disciplines. Dr. Siddiqui completed an internship, through competition, to work at the first even Naturopathic Clinic within a Hospital (Brampton Civic Hospital). He also completed internships at the Sherborne Medical Centre and Mama Baby in Haiti. Dr. Siddiqui is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths in Ontario, and is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Outside of his practice, Dr. Siddiqui is currently the Naturopathic Medical Advisor to Bio Lonreco and Ballet Jorgen.

In his private practice at the Tansley Woods Family Health Centre, Dr. Siddiqui consults with women, men, and children of all ages. He takes the time to really listen to every patient, fully understand complex issues, identify underlying causes of illness, and gain a true understanding of the whole person. He educates his patients about alternative and adjunctive options to conventional drugs and medical procedures, and supports them fully in their decisions. Because of his focus on the integration of Naturopathic Medicine with conventional health care, patient have the option of also consulting with a Medical Doctor at the Health Centre.

Dr. Siddiqui sees every person as an individual and tailors his recommendations and plan of treatment according to the unique circumstances surrounding each case. These may include guidelines for diet, exercise, nutritional supplements, botanical medicines (plant extracts), homeopathic remedies, home hydrotherapy treatments (using water), stress management strategies, and individualized detoxification programs and in some cases, consultation with conventional physicians.
